Steve and Kate. Week 17 of 52!

This is Steve and Kate! They are my family's good friends, and they chose me to shoot their wedding this weekend!!! Dad, Haans, Mum, and I were wisked down to Christchurch for their wedding! It was awesome!

This was my first ever wedding that I have shot all by my self as the OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER! It was such an awesome experience, and Kate and Steve are totally rad!

Anyway... Isn't this the most AWESOME backdrop for a wedding you have ever seen? Fully MINT! Although we did lose the sun at around 4... =( But ALL GOOD!

When I have finished editing all the photos, I will write some more about it in my blog! =)

Hopefully I will see KeriAnn this week, so I am going to make my link for week 18... Ruuuuuuv (How japanese people say looooooove)! And if I do not succeed in that, I will put my weeks BEST picture up!

I took this at the Secondary School Slalom Nationals on Tuesday!

This is Zac Mutton... 11 years old, and OWNING UP! He can run the slalom course clean... And I even can't... I'm still faster though, thank GOD! =P

Anyway, he looks focused, so my link will be focused. (Week 17 might be late, because I'm shooting my first ever wedding by myself next weekend [around the 30th?], and I might want to use one of those)

My god... Another last minute upload... I'm really not picking up my camera enough... The last couple of weeks have been camera 'club'-less... but I have been making a few videos... I dunno...

Alrighty! So... I said I wanted to do more blog posts right? Well... Right now I have nothing new like photos to write about... HOWEVER!

I thought I would throw some old photos up here for a wee peek, yea? They're in complete random order, but I feel like posting on my Blog... Even if it's not necessarily important...

Here goes!

Those are some oldies... But I really like them!

My mum also recently bought me a plug-in for Lightroom 2! It's called LR2Mogrify... Or something like that, and it is used for mean automated Watermarks!!! Instead of those boring, normal text watermarks with your name on them, you can throw a graphic in there and it comes out mean as every time!!!

So yea... It's hard to see, but you can make a watermark in PSCS5, and then import it to LR, adjust the size, and how big it will be in your image, and where it will be and stuff! So rad! You can also just do the normal text... But who does that? Haha

So... For this mean automated system, I created this! =D

I have also been getting into graphic design on Photoshop CS5... I have learnt HEAPS from these dudes, http://www.youtube.com/user/ChChCheckItsClan so CHECK THEM OUT!!!

The lakeside horse. Week 13 of 52!

First things first... THERE WAS A FREAKING HORSE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT!!! =O

So... It was kind of another bad week for me (I usually have freaking amazing weeks, so a few little mishaps during one can dub it a 'bad week') and I really could NOT be stuffed making an image from 'Late'... SO there is nothing 'Late in this picture... Sorry!

Anyway... I'm going to look at this as a clean slate for a new link, let's put this laziness from this week behind us and move FORWARD!!!

I want to take more pictures... Right now I'm kind of in this rut where the only time I whip out my fucking sexy 7D is when I shoot my weeks picture... Which is once a week! Slack. So I'm going to use my camera more during the week... Also... Right now I'm is a ramble mood, which has inspired me to use my blog more (http://jaxonwaxon.blogspot.com/) and learn how to use it better... So I get more people subscribed...
